We were really pleased to receive a call from our client. They confirmed that we had done some work on their friend’s home and that they were happy to recommend us.
We were able to quote for the decorating work and set a date for when it was to be completed. The background on this house is that it was renovated some time ago. At that time, the homeowner asked the plasterer to paint the walls, woodwork and ceilings.
At the time, they were pleased with this, but once we were able to show them what ‘fine finishes’ were, they were ecstatic at the difference. What did this mean? An example of this is the finish around the door frames. As the plasterer was decorating, none of the doors were properly finished. We were able to cut out the plaster around the doors, finish it, re-caulk and decorate it. This meant that each and every doorway had a crisp line finish.
