It is not always entirely predictable how many coats of paint you will need. There are general rules, but you will also find that there are some instances where these rules cannot be applied. We work hard to produce an incredibly high standard of finish. This is just part of the service we offer. Creating an even and smooth paint finish is really important. Different lights show different imperfections, and it is our job to identify all possible eventualities.
Producing the best result is dependent on a few different factors. For an old home, it is likely that there will be imperfections throughout your ceilings, walls or woodwork. Some of our clients love this character and some would like to improve the appearance of these imperfections. Part of what we do is discussing all the different aspects of decorating and building a plan around producing the required result. This does not really apply so much to newer-built homes.
