Decorating Trends with Colour
We have been given the incredible opportunity to work again with our valued client. We helped redecorate their entire previous home which they completely renovated and sold. Our clients have recently moved into a new beautiful home. They intend to do the same with this house and have started their decorating projects.
This particular visit was to complete the decoration of their hall, stairs and landing. The colour scheme they chose was incredible and created a brilliant statement. The woodwork was in a poor condition when we arrived.
Our client is a perfectionist. They appreciate the hard work we put into creating seamless and smooth finishes. This meant a lot of preparatory work for these stairs. Any forgotten areas or lack of preparation will show through when you start to apply your paint. Again, time invested in this process will pay dividends.
It was decided that the newel post and handrails would be painted in a darker colour than the spindles. Our clients are having a carpet runner fitted on their stairs, so this lighter colour extends onto the stairs. These colours complimented each other incredibly. We think you will agree that the space was transformed from what it once looked like.
