What really matters is that you feel that you are listened to and supported. Creating a new room design can be simple. It can sometimes feel a little trickier. There are tips and tricks we are able to help with in order to make it a more enjoyable process.
A large percentage of our decorating work comes from repeat custom and recommendations. We are really proud of this. We were asked to support this client with some exterior decorating work as part of a much larger home restoration project. A lot of interior decorating has been done, with more to follow in the coming months.
Part of what our clients know us for is going the extra mile. We pay attention to detail and complete projects as though they were our own. This does not mean rushing in and rushing out. It does not mean completing the job in the fastest time and using the cheapest materials. Instead, it is taking an approach of using our time wisely to create the highest quality results.
This bay window was in need of our help. The paint was peeling, the wood rotten and stone dirty. Once you start to strip back the flaky paint, it is important to remove any rotten timber and strip it back to undamaged wood. If left, the results will not last, and the rot will start to deteriorate once again (and quickly).
We were able to take all rotten wood away, leaving a lot of wood repair work to be done. This is done carefully in order to create a result that will stand the test of time. Only once it is built back up can any paint be applied.
A Great Result
You will see the difference in the painting work between the before and after images. The previous painter had splashed paint well over the area that needed painting. It looked unsightly and needed to be made clean and sharp again. We were able to completely restore and repair all areas, clean the stone and repoint the areas that had chipped away. And also hope you agree that the end result is incredible and a world apart from where we started.
